We are pleased to announce the second Game Library Camp will be held at Leeds Central Library on Saturday 9th November, times to be confirmed.
The event is a collaboration between Darren Edwards (UK Coordinator for ALA International Games Week), CILIP PMLG, & Leeds Libraries. The event is FREE but will be ticketed via the CILIP website.
This time we are expanding from a half day event to run a full day of talks, workshops and unconference style discussion sessions on the use of games and play in libraries. We will be opening a call for proposals of workshops shortly.
Though this event is being run with CILIP’s Public and Mobile Libraries group it is open to anyone interested in sharing ideas on how to use games in libraries across sectors. The previous event at the British Library in 2017 attracted LIS professionals from a wide range of sectors, those in the wider cultural sector as well as games designers and reviewers.
